The Thanatos dropped out of warp just out side of Jupiter station, "lieutenant send in our IFF and flight path to Jupiter station, helm slow to 3/4 impulse." Trenton said looking around the bridge seeing all the smiles not only for finally returning home but to a free home. With silent nods his orders were carried out, "commander Holtz we're about 2 to 3 hours from reaching Earth."

"Thank you for the update captain," Jess said with a smile, "any word from Starfleet command?"

"No not yet commander, but I'll let you know the minuet we do. I'll make sure Jupiter station informs Stafleet command that we have one of their directors." Trenton said with a smirk on his face, "and we'll also try and get ahold of Memory Alpha for you."

"Thank you again captain." Jess said killing the link and looking back her to two officers, "sorry about that." Jess said smiling, "so like I said I want this array to be the newest version of subspace relay array and the test bed for your new tech Ms Ducati." Herschel was leaning back in his chair looking over the plans that the ARC company sent them.

"Are we sure this is the smartest and best move," Herschel asked looking at Jess, "I mean I know that Starfleet is lacking resources and a solid ground to stand on but going with a civilian based company with this. Especially when Starfleet lost control of internal communications?"

"it is if we want to get reliable communication with the Gamma quadrant." Jess said looking at Herschel, "and this is happening whether you agree with it or not. Hell it's my career on the line if it goes south not yours." Jess said a bit more aggressive than she wanted. "Sorry," she said quickly looking at Herschel, "didn't expect coming back here was gonna be so emotional."

"It's alright commander," Herschel said giving her a small smile, "this is all emotional for us." He added.

Alexia looked nervously between the two of them she didn't like confrontation, "am I assuming that we're responsible for all the interior work the ARC engineers are just doing the structural work?"

"Yes the only plans they've gotten is structural plans," Jess said giving Alexia, "how have things been progressing on your end?" Jess asked Alexia hoping they were progressing nicely.

"Honestly slow," Alexia said looking at the commander, "trouble is trying to do things on the simulator can only go far I need live tests." Jess looked at Alexia and nodded knowing that feeling. "But as of right now it is looking very very promising especially on the speed and quality side of things."

"Good good," Jess said looking at both of them, "as you know Mr Hohstadt is gonna be team leader and once we get to Earth he'll be making the team and once the team is formed and the Thanatos is given permission to head to the Gamma quadrant you guys well be heading out to staff the array." Jess said with a eager smile.

"Commander we've arrived. I'll have you and your people be the first to beam down. I"m still working with getting permission to beam you directly to Memory Alpha Starfleet security is still running checks on that building." Trenton said with a smile as he admired the view from the bridge.

"Thank you captain," Jess said looking between the two, "get your stuff ready and head for the transporter room." She smiled glad to finally be back. Within the next 30 minuets herself and her staff were beamed down to Memory Alpha luckily the building was intact but the question was how corrupted was the software and data.
