Mission: Reconciliation & Reconstruction [Fleet Plot]
Location: Various locations

"......ma'am.....ma'am......" Maureen called out as she saw the commander walk by the front desk of Memory Alpha. Maureen stood and quickly rushed after the commander. "Commander Holtz!" Maureen finally half-yelled.

Sighing Jess finally stopped and turned to face Maureen, "yes Ms James what can I do for you?"

"Versailles has reconnected to the Yadalla network." Maureen said handing a PaDD to the commander, "along with a sector commander a admiral Cerywyn along with a deputy a commander Hailey Konuha. Their jackets and everything is on the PaDD." This did make Jess stop and look over the info Versailles didn't go dormant during the civil war but it was quiet.

"Cerywyn......Cerywyn.......why does that name sound familiar?" Jess asked looking at Maureen.

"She was the CO of the starbase several years ago when it was staging point for Beta fleet." Maureen said, pulling out another PaDD she handed it to Jess, "this is the team that's near the Yadalla sector who can perform an inspection of the network and Versailles." Taking the PaDD she looked it over nodding impressed with how everything was organized.

"Okay get me a meeting with the deputy let her know that we need to perform an inspection of the communication network and the stations communication network. And send a memo of this to Nick Vera and let him know we'll loop him in on the inspection." Jess said holding finger up keeping her next meeting at bay. Maureen nodded making mental notes of everything that she needed to do for this. "I'll be back in a few hours." And with that Jess walked out of Memory Alpha.

"Commander Konuha is on in your office." Maureen said. Jess nodded as she walked quickly into her office. Taking a deep breath as she sat down and pulled up a couple of things before connecting the call.

"Commander Konuha. I'm commander Jess Holtz director of Starfleet communications and I just wanted to inform you that we'll be sending a small team to inspect the Yadalla communication network along with Versailles."

Hailey took a moment and took in the flowing red locks before her. She nodded, "of course," she said flatly. She drew a quick breath and added,"but understand that Versailles is a ghost of who she once was - we're cleaning up a real mess here, Commander." Hailey felt a little at odds Starfleet was already contacting them for a damn inspection? She hated red tape. The picture before her sizzled and fizzled for a a few seconds. "Starfleet are you still there?" she tried.

"Damn't," Jess said looking around as she waved Maureen into her office and handed her a PaDD with a message on it. Increase the signal strength to the Yadalla sector. "Commander stay on the line we're increasing the signal power to your sector.

Hailey rolled her eyes. "I tried to tell them ...", she muttered under her breath and trailed off. "Ensign, can you get them back?", she asked.

A message from Maureen came a few seconds later saying it was done, "better?" Jess asked.

"Yes Commander - I have you now. But as you cam tell, we're not going to be able to hold you much longer. We have a...lot... clean...here." The transmission started to fade in and out once again.

"I'll look forward to your visit - I better go! Konuha out."

"Shit. Maureen whose the team leader our in the Yadalla sector." While Jess waited she got back to work trying to find a way to solve the communication issue in that sector.
