The downtime, if one could call it that, had actually been a help for her. Giving Andrus a chance to try and get her to open up a little more and talk about what's been tormenting her. Not that she'd told him everything, talking about things still wasn't easy. But at least she knew she needed to deal with a few things, and having him around helped with that. Though she seemed to be the main one, she wasn't the only one he was talking to and helping lately. He too had duties to attend to.

Sitting at what was for now her desk, she went over the latest reports that had been coming in from other fleet ships. Checking in on their repairs was a daily thing for her. Of course she was also keeping on eye on the activities that were going down planet side. Pausing a moment for a drink, she took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a moment to ponder a few things in silence.

"Admiral, incoming encrypted subspace communication from Admiral Malone, priority one." Came an aide.

"Thank you." Kassi responded as she looked towards the woman that had stepped in to tell her before giving her a dismissive motion. Only after the woman had stepped back out did she put in her codes and open up that connection. "Denterius here, Admiral." She said as his face came up on her screen.

"Good to see your well rested, Admiral." Malone said, looking almost the exact opposite. "I trust things are stable over there at Alpha Centari?"

"Thank you Sir, though you look like you could use that rest yourself." She pondered asking him when the last time he ate or slept was, but decided against it. "And yes... things are stable and under control around here."

"Good, then they won't miss you." Malone replied, calmly. "I'm hanging out the recall, Admiral. I need all flag ranked officers to return to Earth immediately. You're to report yourself to Starfleet Command in the next five days."

There was a slight furrow of brows as she heard him. Part of her wanted to think of an excuse to stay put, why... she wasn't sure, after all Earth was her home. A hand lifted to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear absentmindedly as she gave a slight nod and responded. "Aye Admiral."

"See you soon, Malone out." Kerry said, closing the channel to leave the Starfleet chevron on the screen.

As the connection closed Kassi let loose the soft sigh as she looked at the lingering screen. She knew what she needed to do, and the time frame she had to do it in. Didn't mean she wanted to jump up and rush around to get it all done. Sending a message to Andrus that she needed to meet him. She rose and headed out to speak with Fischer and start making the arrangements.
