Vanguard Log || Vokar, Rogers & th'Zarath || "Awakenings..."

Mission: Insurrection [Fleet Plot]
Location: Near Earth

=V= VCD Pendragon, Somewhere near Earth =V=

Stalking through space, the Pendragon was back to running in low power mode, the Vulcan sat on the bridge, tapping his foot on the deck and waiting for the arrival of the ship he had arranged to meet them, it was carrying a cargo, something precious to the Vulcan and something he had gone to great trouble to attain.

The sensors screamed into life as a Klingon ship de-cloaked off their bow, its shields and weapons stayed disabled and the Vulcan smiled slightly as the tactical station alerted them to an incoming message, "On screen." Vokar ordered as he leant forward slightly.

"Vokar, we have them." the Human on the screen stated as he flashed up on the screen, "They were under guard, but we took care of that, the package is undamaged, as per your request."

"Operations, transport the package to the guest quarters on Deck 3," Vokar replied, cutting off the transmission as soon as he finished, "If you need me, I'll be seeing to our guests."

=V= Deck 3, Guest Quarters =V=

Having been transported without warning, Thelin had spent a minute looking around the new quarters they had appeared in, it quite obviously wasn't a cell, they were being kept comfortable and so he set about keeping Scarlet together, talking about everything and nothing.

Doctor Scarlet Rogers was only talking to Thelin about nothings, just to pass the time away. They had decided to remain in their quarters just in case. Also, Rogers was a tad scared. She knew that this was Vokar's doing but it didn't change the fact that technically he had kidnapped her. The only upside was that Thelin was there with her. She would have been heart broken without him.

Striding through the door, Vokar cleared his throat and announced his presence, he folded his arms behind his back and a slight smile crossed his face as he saw the redhead.

"Sir," she stood up off of the bed where she had been sat with Thelin, "Long time."

"Hardly sir anymore," Vokar replied as he stepped further into the room and gave Scarlet a quick bow of his head, "I'm sorry for my method of... retrieving you, but I had to make sure you were here, that you were safe." the Vulcan added as he turned to Thelin, "I'm sorry that you've been caught up in this Mr th'Zarath, it was not my intention to damage your career."

"You will remain sir, sir," Scarlet interrupted, "What the hell is going on? You uproot me and my," she paused, "partner with next to no explanation and expect me to be ok with the fact that you have dragged me away from my medical bay in order to sit here and do next to nothing for the past few days whilst we were waiting to come see you? Like seriously, what the hell?"

"I had to get you out of there because I do not trust the person who has been placed in command, his loyalties are... clouded." the Vulcan replied as he raised a hand with a padd from behind his back, "But also because things are about to get... messy and I needed a doctor I could trust, we're currently close to Andoria and are... promoting unrest among your people Mr th'Zarath, Federation First are struggling to maintain control, I just hope Starfleet see this and use it."

Scarlet looked to Thelin in haste as she felt his emotions change.

"Andoria?" Thelin replied as he stood and moved toward the Vulcan slightly, "We're in the core of the Federation? How is a ship like this not being attacked constantly?"

Rogers suddenly piped up and did what she had wanted to do since she had found out the Vulcan was behind her kidnapping. With a loud smack she slapped him across the face, "You have torn my life a part because you decided that the Enterprise was going awol? Are you kidding me. I have left friends behind on the Enterprise. You honestly think I am going to help someone like you? I am not here to clean up your messes. Why shoot first? Where is your humanity. You could have killed those security officers. I hope you haven't. But you really think I am going to turn my back on the right way to follow your orders?"

"I simply gave the order to acquire you, I left the choice of how up to the crew that were tasked with it," Vokar replied as he took a slight step back from the slap across the face and put his hands up in front of him, "You and I both know that these are dangerous times Scarlet, we've both had a huge amount of strife in the past few years, you are one of the people I trust the most in this world, you took a risk in contacting me and it damaged your career, I'm offering you the chance to help me repair our fractured Federation."

Her glare softened slightly, "My career took a hit because of the fact I didn't follow orders when on an away mission." She took a breath to calm herself and looked to Thelin trying to work out what she should do next. She wanted to protect her lover but was unsure on how to make a decision as big as this for both of them. "If I refuse to help you, what becomes of us?" she asked Vokar as she remained looking to Thelin.

"You will remain onboard the Pendragon until such a time that I can return you to Earth, or the custody of Starfleet, safely and without risking my ship and crew." the Vulcan replied with a slight nod towards the young redhead and her blue-skin partner, "These are perilous times and even though I am working to help Starfleet, they will not take kindly to some of my methods, they have proven this in the past."

"Not surprisingly," she muttered with a side glance to Vokar. Scarlet tried to look to Thelin for help. She was lost and needed guidance from him, "Thelin?"

"I'd rather not sit here and remain what is effectively a prisoner, I know he'll keep us comfortable, but we'll go stir crazy with nothing to keep us busy, we're both workaholics, the least we can do is try and help restore the Federation we love." the Andorian replied with a slight smile as his antennae narrowed.

The young woman wasn't sure if Thelin's response was what she wanted to hear but turned to Vokar with a serious, and somewhat threatening face, "Then I will help you on the condition that both Thelin and I are kept as safe as virtually possible, and I would also like to contact the USS Enterprise to inform my friends that we are alright."

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that Scarlet," the Vulcan replied with a slight sigh.

The doctor glared hoping for a consolation.

"However, I can let you contact Tierney Rinehart onboard the Figaro, we ran into them some days ago and we... came to an agreement," Vokar countered with a slight smile as the padd reappeared in his hand, "You can use this to contact her and her alone."

"Figaro?" she questioned as she relaxed. She looked down to the PaDD and started to write a message for Rinehart. She stated she was well and not to worry about her, she also apologised for not getting a chance to say goodbye, explaining her situation. Scarlet missed Tierney. Although she loved Thelin, she needed a woman in her life to at least talk to.

"Yes, the Figaro is the ship she is commanding, a small freighter, I'm sure you probably saw it before you... left." the Vulcan replied as he crossed his hands behind his back again.

"You make it sound like I had a choice," Scarlet growled.

"Anyway, you may contact her as often as you need, the connection is as secure as anyone can make it, even if they can trace the source, we'll be expecting them long before they arrive." the Vulcan replied with a tilt of the head and a raised eyebrow.

Scarlet sat down next to Thelin, "Thank you, sir."

"I'll take my leave," Vokar replied with another nod, "You are free to roam the Pendragon, Scarlet, Sickbay is at your disposal, our medics could do with your help," the Vulcan continued before turning to look at Thelin, "And you, Mr th'Zarath, you have a background in engineering, I could do with an extra set of hands on the deck."

Rogers looked at Thelin after Vokar had left, "I love you."
