Mission Summary

Following in the wake of the Siege of Sol, where Paris was destroyed, and Starfleet Command severely damaged – forces are at work to change the UFP from within. A secret group has masterminded the Cardassian attack so as to take over the UFP Government and Starfleet. With the loss of the entire UFP Government, this group is in a position to take complete control of the Federation, and mould it in their image. The only factor they didn’t consider was the survival of the Starfleet Commander-in-Chief, Fleet Admiral Malone.

Now, the organisation seeks to undermine the CinC at every turn, by slowly stripping power and authority away from his office, into the hands of the civilian authorities. Power is being amassed not in the President – who is merely a puppet figure – but in the Department of Defence. Through this agency, the clandestine organisation controls all promotions, appointments and assignments within Starfleet. Already key figures within the fleet have been targeted and removed. General’s Sharpe, Tyris & Taylor, as well as Colonel Towers have already been removed from position and attempted to be arrested.

With a totalitarian government on the rise, Starfleet is being divided. Who will emerge from the ashes?
