Mission: Insurrection [Fleet Plot]
Location: Gamma Quadrant

Rattling again, the Pendragon shook under weapons fire as the colossal ship's shields flared, the lack of a slipstream drive meant that the UFP could track the ship much easier and could easily overtake it, the fact that they were attacking in the Gamma Quadrant meant that they controlled Zetari, the major transit hub between the Gamma and Alpha quadrants.

Another Sabre class lay adrift, burning and venting atmosphere as the lights flickered and died again, to the Vulcan sat in the command chair, each ship going down was a loss he had to suffer, their crews were being forced forward by something much worse than morals, their choices were not really choices, face down the Excalibur class behemoth and die trying to capture it, or die at the end of the 'Morale' Officer's pistol.

The shaking stopped as an Excelsior class ship detonated from a direct hit to it's drive section from a volley of torpedoes, the Pendragon's fighters broke formation and made for the flight deck as the huge ship came to a halt, the shockwave from the core breach dissipated mere metres before the nacelles of the Pendragon.

Activity on the bridge didn't slow though, Vokar brushed some dust off his shoulder and looked around, nearly everyone was still alive and kicking, the entire crew now wore civilian clothes and the only marking left on the huge ship was the name Pendragon, any reference to Starfleet or the Federation had been removed, fortunately the Vulcan his crew were loyal, they understood the choices he had made on their behalf and when he addressed them, it was as equals, as freedom fighters.

Where the Vanguard had mostly been a secretive organisation in recent times, the Pendragon was a shining beacon of freedom, the next target was the Spinward Wormhole and the Alpha Quadrant, rumours had filtered through various channels that Vulcan had attempted to resist the coup and was being occupied, when he had received the intel, Vokar had needed to repair his ready room again from his outburst.

"Captain?" a voice asked from beside him as his focus drifted back to the present, despite the changes, the crew still strived to maintain the chain of command and still addressed eachother as they had done before.

"What is it Raville?" the Vulcan asked as he turned to look on the face of his former yeoman, the young woman always looked slightly worried when she approached him, perhaps it was the scar he now bore across his left eye, or the milky white of the damaged eye that unsettled her, the Vulcan was beginning to resemble the version of himself that had pulled them to the future, a future which looked to be unfolding before their very eyes.

"We've confirmed that the Spinward Wormhole is still controlled by the Federation forces, we could try the Bajoran wormhole but that would increase our journey time to almost double," the young Human replied quickly, handing him a padd and snapping back to attention when he had accepted it.

"Unacceptable, the Spinward is our only option, we'll fight our way through if we have to." the Vulcan replied, his cold gaze turning from the yeoman to the viewscreen which showed the depths of space, "Helm, estimated time until we reach Starbase Zetari?" he asked, his right eyebrow raising as he read one peice of information in particular.

"Three hours until they are sure to detect us sir," came the expected reply.

"Drop to yellow alert, maximum warp to the Spinward Wormhole," the Vulcan replied as he stood up slowly and looked over at the Tellarite next to him, "If I'm needed, I'll be with my family," he said as he strode towards the turbolift, no confirmation was needed, the Vulcan knew that the Tellarite wouldn't bother him until they were within range of Zetari.
