Mission: Insurrection [Fleet Plot]

Zetari wasn't the only one that had noticed Medusa's movements. A slight nod of her head as she saw them clearing the Starbase. For the moment they where on radio silence and needed to stay that way. She could only hope that Hunter had thought to do enough sabotaging of the station to help take out some of the Stations tactical devices.
"Inform Vespira and Nightfall to get ready to cover Medusa." Kassi popped off suddenly to one of the communications officers. She knew full well if she'd discovered one of her ships was playing for the other side, she'd want them out first and foremost as a lesson to them and all.
She glanced towards Fischer a moment. "Mjolnir will no doubt be aiming for the Vesuvius also." Something told her that Sa'Tak likely had planned for Medusa to join in on taking the lead ship out. After all, without the leader, the rest would fall. Logical, right?

Earlier than he'd planned Nathan was forced to give the command. "All Stations, Fire at will. Target Starbase 204 Bravo and any support craft." Being so close to the station at least had one advantage in that Medusa's speed would make her difficult to target. "Be sure that we thank Captain Sa'Tak for his torpedoes properly."

"Captain, Medusa is coming about and bringing her weapons to bear against us." Tactical reported.
Sa'Tak's eyes narrowed as he looked out as the scene before him unfolded. “Then they are a traitor just as the others are. Alert everyone that they are to be taken out first. Lets show them what happens to traitors.” Yes, he's screwed up and was more determined to make up for that mistake.
At that moment, the sabotage that Medusa's marines had inflicted aboard the station became apparent, as several carefully placed explosives detonated. The station jolted slightly with the force of many tricobalt explosives being detonated in strategic places. The lights flickered slightly, then returned to full power.
Grabbing the back of a chair to keep from hitting the ground, the Vulcan didn't even bother to take notice or care of possible injuries around him. Causalities were a part of war and he wasn't the type to boohoo over someone having a little scratch. “Report” He snapped with only the the slightest glance towards his his Tactial officer, and the one he'd appointed his first officer.
"Multiple internal explosions across the station. Power flow regulators have been targeted, as well as the torpedo launchers, phaser bank modulators, sensor control nodes and ODN relays. All tactical command and control functions have been severed, and our weapons systems are completely off-line." Tactical reported. "We're looking at probably a day's worth of repairs, Captain."
“Are you blind? Do you not see what we are looking at? Unless you plan on contacting them and telling them we need a day to fix a couple things. I'd advise you to get every operation officers on it and get this fixed now.” Sa'Tak started wringing his hands together. This was getting worse by the minute and Sa'Tak knew that logically without Zetari's tactical systems working the support ships wouldn't have much of a chance. "Inform the Support ships that we are a duck in the water."
"Aye, Captain." Not about to argue, the Lieutenant quickly worked to do what he was ordered to, even though he knew logically that some of it was not so logical. A slight groan slipped from him. "Captain, we have issue."
"What now?" Sa'Tak near growled as his dark gaze locked on his first officer.
"Something or someone is jamming the communication systems." Was all he said as the Station was hit by another torpedoe and he almost fell out of his chair.

The support ships, led by the Mjolnir moved into position to flank the massive carrier, Vesuvius, which had been identified by process of elimination as being the command ship. There were only twelve ships tasked with supporting Zetari, because it was believed that Zetari was more than capable of defending itself.
When the Captain's of the support vessels realized that Zetari had stopped firing, they attempted to communicate with the station to find out what was going on. Only, in a stroke of tactical brilliance, someone had decided to jam all communications not operating on SF frequencies. The ships couldn't get their orders from Sa'Tak, and nor could the co-ordinate with each other.
The USS Mjolnir stalled slightly as captain Reynolds tried to figure out what the hell was going on. "Continue firing at the Vesuvius with everything we got. Attack pattern omega sigma." Reynolds shouted as the Mjolnir essentially bobbed and weaver as best as it could as it tried to keep the Vesuvius in it's targets.
Without the updated instruction from the Starbase, the support ships didn't get the added word to go after Medusa. Though a couple still did, having enough common since to do just that when they noticed the ship had turned on them. Most the others though kept their course and started after the rest of the fleet, Though outnumbered, they could only hope to try and pick them off one by one.

The moment the station's weapons fell silent Nathan's eyes narrowed. "Hard to starboard, target incoming support craft." Without assistance from the station Zetari's support ships were caught in a crossfire, the older and poorly maintained ships finding out quickly that they were at a distinct disadvantage in firepower. "Captain they're focusing on the Vesuvius." Nathan nodded, doing more damage to the station would have to wait. "Let them know we're out here too. Spread volleys, all launchers." The bridge shuddered and Hunter smirked. ~Looks like they know now.~
