Four men, dressed in dark black Intelligence tunics, walked into Ops. They were trailed by eight men in UFP Security colors, and those men had phaser rifles.

Ignoring the looks which varied from terror to horror to anger to surprise, the Intel agents moved towards the Commodore's office door and rang the chime twice.

Kassi had been busy sending messages to her department heads and a few other members of her senior staff to relay the message that Malone had sent. Also to let them know to pass the message on to their departments as they felt fit. She'd much rather had a full blown meeting and was in the process of arranging that meeting, but for the moment she wanted them to know what was going on, the meeting would simply give them a chance to ask questions.

As she received a few incoming messages from a few members from main ops, she frowned as she heard her chime go off. -What the hell was Intel is doing here... With back up?? - Something wasn't right... "Enter" She called as she put in a few codes that would lock some of the files she had to the point that only her, Taeran, or her brother would be able to get into them.

The agents stepped in, spreading out, and one took a few steps in front, holding out a PADD.

"Commodore Kassandra Denterius, you have been relieved of command of this station and will be taken into custody by order of the Federation Council." He said, getting right to the point.

Standing up, Kassi took the PaDD and skimmed it over before looking at the men. "First off, my orders come from Admiral Malone, and secondly... You have no reason to take me in. I've done nothing wrong to warrant it." Her gaze was cool and steady upon the man that was speaking to her.

"I told you." One of the other men muttered.

The first man sighed. "Commodore, you don't seem to realize how the chain of command works. These orders are approved by the Federation Council, who are the ones that give Malone HIS orders. They supersede him. The confirmation code on them will tell you they are legitimate, if you want to check it." He paused for a second.

"Now. You can either come with us of your own free will, accepting the will of the people you would claim to work for, or we can have you stunned and dragged out in restraints. Choose." He finished.

"I know how the chain of Command works, I also know that Malone has been forced out and that something really screwed up within the fleet. And it seems you all are a part of the trouble." Grabbing her cane as she looked to the men. "You know how much trouble you will have on your hands if you were to follow through with that threat? Do you not think my crew would let you out of here that easily if I'm harmed?" The downfall was the fact that Kassi wasn't able to assess just how many men had boarded the station now.

Denterius clearly had no idea how LITTLE trouble they would be in. It was only a thinly veiled layer of remaining civility and a desire to avoid "complications" that prevented her from being gunned down on the spot.

"Your crew will be placed on lockdown and anybody resisting will be court-martialed and arrested. We have lots of room in the penal colonies, Commodore. Now you're either walking out of here or one of us carrying your corpse. Make your choice. Now." The officer said.

Kassi hesitated, the grip on her cane tightened as she remembered the last time she gave into the wants of others and left people behind her. People that had trusted her to make sure she would keep them safe. And now, she was expected to do that again? She felt her stomach turn and closed her eyes tightly a moment as she tried to push back those thoughts. This was, after all, her own people.... Right?

Though she didn't trust these people, of course she didn't trust too many people, but these people were even closer friends and she needed to keep them from going overboard. With a soft sigh, she looked at the men, her voice still confident and cool sounding as she spoke. "You let me walk out of here, freely, with you."

The man nodded and turned to one of his associates. "Take two of them, get the other one. We're heading out immediately." The agent nodded and moved off, taking two of the heavily armed guards with him.

She knew she couldn't do anything from within her office, and even outside of her office, she wasn't sure what she could do. Except hope that she could come up with some kind of plan. "You still never told me what I was being taken into custody for...." She said lowly as she walked out with the man. She'd heard his orders to the other men and tried not to let her interest in it show, gut feeling told her who the other one was, and she was glad she'd done what she had now.

"Accusations of treason and collaboration with enemies of the state. That's all you need to know, Commodore. " The Intel agents walked one in front of her and one behind, and the security was around them in a loose sphere. No chances were being taken as they went back towards the docking ring.

Stopping in midstride as she heard that she looked at the man that said it. Her gaze darkening with anger. Sharpe Her jaw tightened instantly to keep from saying anything that she would end up regretting. Neither of them had thought she had anything to worry about. It seems both of them were wrong. "I, have to go to the ladies room." She blurted out suddenly.

"We're almost at the airlock, Commodore. I trust your bladder will hold another five minutes." The agents behind her forced her to continue moving, as they would run her over if she didn't.

"Then you haven't done your job that well, if you had you would know that my body had some severe damage done to it. If I say I have to go. I have to go now." With that, she turned and eyed one of the men that tried to walk into her. "You can take me there and wait outside, I'll only be a couple minutes."

"Wow. You must think we're really stupid." One of the agents said. Kassi felt the business end of a phaser in the small of her back.

"Get moving. Now." His voice had an edge to it now.

Just then the agent and two guards that had detached themselves reappeared. The agent looked pissed off.

"Where the hell is she?" He glared at Kassi.

"Well, you all never did seem to prove to be very smart" She muttered softly and pondered what would happen if she just told the computer to transport her out and to another area as she started moving once more, not a big fan of feeling the phaser.

"Is who?" Kassi asked as she looked at the pissed off man.

"Your fellow traitor." He spat, falling back into formation. The two guards that were with him also fell in silently, their helmets obscuring their faces.

"If you are speaking of the young Lieutenant Sharpe, she took a personal leave about a week ago. It was personal so I didn't ask where she was going, simply granted it." She said with a shrug, once more glad she'd done what she had. Of course she was still pondering transporting herself out of this mess, though she knew logically they would still hunt her down, and likely not worry about taking out anyone that got in their way now.

"Well nice of you to admit that she's culpable, given that we didn't tell you a name. We'll get her too and bring her in for her crimes, as well as the crimes of her family." They had arrived at the docking ring and moved towards an airlock.

"I only mentioned her since I'm assuming the 'collaboration with enemies of the state' that you mentioned was my talking with General Sharpe. So, putting two and two together, I figured you meant her." Leaving the 'good luck finding her' part to herself.

Kassi slowed in her steps as they reached the airlock, her grip tightening on her cane as she looked to the men. Knocking one upside the head would likely only get her in more trouble and that would be a flop of an idea. For the moment she didn't take time to look at anyone around them, though she was sure that there was likely already messages being sent from one department to another to relay messages that something big was going down.

From down the hallway, three phaser blasts lanced into the ceiling, not really close to the group, but close enough. The UFP security broke ranks, raising their weapons as they moved in the direction of the blast.

The two that had rejoined from looking for Sarah stayed close to Kassi. One leaned down and whispered quietly: "Close your eyes. Cover your ears." His voice was somehow familiar to her.

The intel agents were distracted, looking down the hallway and trying to see what the hell was going on.

She jumped as the blast happened and gripped her cane tighter, dammit for her not having a weapon in her! She started to move, wanted to move... Yet the commotion had caused those inner demons to surface some.

About to say something, the voice in her ear stopped that almost instantly. If it hadn't been for that voice she likely wouldn't have done what he'd said, even more so, she'd done just the opposite. Releasing the cane to rest against her, she lifted hands up to cover her ears as she closed her eyes tightly.

Kassi did this barely in time as a cylindrical object rolled into the mass of UFP security and detonated. Flashbang grenades were nasty things, sending crippling amounts of noise and light in all directions. Anybody not protecting themselves was in for a world of pain.

Every man was thrown to the floor and blinded instantly except for Kassi and the two guards behind her who had protected their own senses as well, though all three would still have ringing in their ears from the intensity of the weapon.

Half a second passed before one of the two picked Kassi up, slung her over his shoulder, and they both ran with their human cargo in tow. Down the hallway and to the left.

The second man was already speaking into a comm. "We have the package. Initiate phase two." He said. They only had a few seconds before the UFP security would begin to regain their bearings.

Kassi bit back the startled scream as she was picked up and wondered what the hell was going on now. She was really starting to wonder about this whole Commodore thing. She'd been captured and tossed around like a sack of potatoes more since she'd gotten this rank than she ever had! Of course hands had left her ears to grab onto the back of whoever now had her. So she heard the man and she frowned a bit more yet for the moment she stayed quiet.

They finally put her down as weapons fire started tracking down the corridor after them. The man lifted up the visor on his helmet revealing the face of Adam Towers.

"Commodore. That weapons fire will have made your Ops team raise your shields. I need you to lower them so we can beam you out. There's no way we're getting you back to our runabout like this. I also need you to tell your security teams to back the hell off, because they'll throw us in the brig." Towers said. The second man had leaned back out into the hallway and scattered shots at their pursuers, causing them to dive for cover.

Blinking a moment seeing Towers in front of her. A hand lifted to tap her badge. "Commodore Denterius to Security, back off and go over see main ops. Now!" She said instantly, Towers was one of the few people that she trusted with her life. She had too, he had saved it often enough now.

Question filled eyes kept locked on Towers as she followed the next one without questioning. "Computer, lower Station shields, 10 minutes, Kassi - Alpha - seven - five."

[Computer] "Station shields lowered for 10 minutes."

"Edmunds to Vesuvius. Now!" The second man spoke again into his comm.

It took only a few seconds for the order to be carried out. With weapons fire in the docking ring, shields and inhibitors would have been automatically raised by Ops. Kassi's command would have lowered them, allowing the Vesuvius to swoop into the system and pick them up.

Of course now the Zetari crew would be freaking the hell out that a super carrier was parked on their doorstep unannounced. But that was a different bridge to cross.
